Bowmer and Kirkland

Bowmer and Kirkland (B&K) instructed Hoard-it to supply and install a construction site hoarding solution for their prestige project at St Andrew’s Square in Edinburgh, working with their client Standard Life.

The challenges of supplying a hoarding system that didn’t require any dig in a busy tight city centre, whilst meeting wind calculations as per Temporary Works regs were met and completed on time by the Hoard-it team.

Our on ground gate system was utilised so that even the vehicle gateposts didn’t have to be dug, in an area teaming with services. B&K further met the client’s requirements of a corporate identity with the hoarding panels being supplied in Standard Life’s RAL colour.

Hoard-it boards are pre-painted meaning the hoarding line was delivered to site ready to go and providing a corporate identity from day 1. Standard Life went a step further and requested Graphics be added to the project. Hoard-it supplied our unique print to board panels with graffiti coating, that were retrofitted in a day.

Unlike an in ground system ,we have been able to accommodate further instructions from B&K for amendments to the hoarding layout, due to the on ground nature of our system.
