hoard-it have just completed the latest task for Carillion at Paradise Circus in Birmingham’s City Centre. Using existing hoarding from Fletchers Walk, which has been one of the main thoroughfares through the city centre, we installed a new route through the centre of the building site where pedestrians will now pass.
The time scales were extremely limited due to deadlines of other trades, and with specific bracing designs to three planters along the hoarding line, the project has been challenging in both its preparation and installation. On 10th November, the last hoarding panel went into place and the job was complete ready for the new walkway to open, as planned, at 6am on Saturday morning. Fletchers Walk is now closed to allow demolition to commence.
