The Kersfield Estate scheme in London is a new housing project as part of Wandsworth Council’s Housing for All programme. The seven new blocks of apartments are being built by Wates Construction. Hoard-it supplied 382LM of mesh and solid construction site hoarding panels, with pedestrian and vehicle gates at the site. Also included graphics are 80 foliage in-fill panels with Wates’ corporate colours.
The new project will deliver 1,000 new homes by 2027 with all of the homes being prioritised for those who live and work in the area. This project is part of Wandsworth Council’s £80m investment in Housing for All, which are focusing on meeting the needs of local people. The homes on the Kersfield Estate will be available to buy or rent and are designed to be affordable.
The scheme will also provide new play spaces for young children, and improve the landscaping around the new development. This is part of the council’s commitment to deliver wider benefits to existing communities. Wates will also be making general improvements to the estate by planting new trees, soft landscaping, improving the lighting and resurfacing pathways. There will also be new bin stores, cycle racks and an electric car charging point as part of the further enhancements.
